A: In general, yes. As long as your Cummins 3.9 is not extra deep and looks like the pictures, and has only 8 valves, it should fit.
Q: How many different oil pans are there for the 4BT?	8/20/2025
A: More than you think. I've seen the sump in the middle and there are extra deep sumps. This is your normal oil pan that can be mounted in either direction.

We just installed these on one of our rebuilt motors. It installed and fit right. Just remember to install both of the oil drain bolts.
