WARRANTY AND TERMS OF SALE
Hans Diesel Shop parts (HDS) have a TWO YEAR limited parts warranty.
HDS has a 45 day return policy. No refunds after 45 days. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Refunds are given the same way that the customer paid.
This means that if the credit card used to purchase a product or service is no longer usable, store credit only will be given.
If a refund cannot be issued back to the original form of payment because an account has been closed,
only a store credit is offered.
You can void your Warranty. If there is a problem with any HDS part, it is your responsibility to immediately contact HDS
in writing (questions@emiata.com). A failure to do so will void the warranty.
Immediately means within 56 hours of you learning of a problem that you believe is the result of a failure of an RE part.
If an item sold is listed as NEW, a return for a refund is only accepted back in the same condition (unused).
If there is a problem with an item after use/install, only a legitimate warranty claim can be requested.
Warranty claims are for exchanges only, or at our discretion a store credit may be issued.
HDS reserves the right to substitute equivalent or superior performance parts for any defective component.
You are also responsible to return an alleged defective part(s) to HDS for warranty repairs at your own expense.
In addition, you agree to pay return freight or pickup, unless on-site service was included in the
original or add-on purchase agreement. RE does not pay return freight or shipping or issue “Call Tags”.
You are responsible for ensuring that parts ordered are the proper parts for your vehicle,
regardless if HDS made suggestion of the part(s) ordered.
Please understand that some parts described by HDS as fitting your car will not fit your car.
You will be subject to the 15% restocking fee and return shipping costs, if a return is necessary.
You are responsible for ensuring that parts installed in vehicle are used properly and are designed
for your vehicle and maintaining the vehicle(s). Under no circumstances does HDS ever pay installation or removal expenses.
If a part that HDS sells is claimed to be defective or incompatible, HDS does not cover installation or
removal expenses of that part. If a part that HDS sells is alleged to have caused damages to other parts
in a customer's truck, HDS is not responsible for those damages.
HDS is not responsible for damages under any circumstance or condition,
even if the part(s) were installed by a professional or certified mechanic.
We strongly recommend all consumers have a professional installer to install the parts.
Vehicle protection is your responsibility. The Buyer shall not be entitled to recover from HDS
any consequential damages, suach as: damages to property, damages for loss of use, loss of time,
loss of profit or income, mechanic fees or any other incidental damages. The Buyer shall not be
entitled to recover consequential damages listed above caused by a failure of a RE part.
The Buyer shall not be entitled to recover any consequential damages listed above, caused by an
alledged imcompatability of an HDS part.
You can void your Warranty.
If failures of components are due to or caused by physical abuse,
acts of nature, data corruption, customer installation of incompatible parts/equipment after delivery and setup,
or by alteration of parts by the end user or of a part that is modified by the end user installs.
The use of any non standard fuel (i.e. Red diesel, black diesel, bio fuels greater than b5, WVO)
can void your warranty. While some of these fuels are good for the planet, they are not good for
your injection pump. Customer must use Diesel no. 2 or any injection pump returned and found to have any substance
other than diesel no. 2 all repair costs to fix the part will be forwarded to the purchaser.
Core returns for injection pumps or cylinder heads should not be tampered with.
Any core that comes in disassembled or incomplete (excluding fuel fittings) will not be accepted.
Core Refunds are offered only on the condition that they are rebuildable. If we receive a core back,
and we determine the core is non-rebuildable from our standards, we will contact you immediately to determine
if you, as a customer would like the part to be returned to you. A customer is welcome to email pictures of their
core in question before mailing it to us, to check credibility. Email: questions@emiata.com.
Core refunds are only issued back to the original form of payment.
There is a 6 month time period from the original purchase date to redeem a core refund.
After 6 months no refund will be available.
No refunds can be given for any reason after 6 months.
This includes items that have been backordered or not available. Store credit is the only option for refunds after 6 months.
Jurisdiction. Any suit, action or proceeding seeking to enforce any provision of, or based on any matter arising
out of or in connection with, this Agreement or the transactions contemplated hereby may be brought
in any federal or state court located in Union County and State of North Carolina,
and each of the parties hereby consents to the jurisdiction of such courts.
Personal checks are not accepted for payment except when pre-approved by HDS.
You can void your Warranty. Failure to return the original box with the parts and an order confirmation
included will void our legal responsibility to have the parts repaired or replaced at no charge.
Keep the original box with order confirmation!
Cancellation of special orders (defined as any parts built to specifications outside those listed
on this web site) after two business days may result in a 15% surcharge.
We at HansDieselShop.com strive for a win-win relationship.
Occasionally, the estimated shipping costs are significantly lower than the actual shipping costs.
In these instances, we reserve the right to either ask you for more money to cover the shipping costs,
or to refund your purchase.
HansDieselShop.com reserves the right to refund and cancel any purchase for any reason.
